Hence, we are thrilled to join forces with Lightspeed and KRAFTON, Inc. in backing Gardens, a pioneering gaming studio dedicated to creating immersive online worlds for players to interact and embark on novel adventures. At the recent Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023, Gardens unveiled a playable prototype of their upcoming game to a select audience. The response proved overwhelmingly positive, garnering exceptional reviews from investors and industry peers alike, as well as acquisition proposals within days. Helmed by game developers responsible for several “Game of the Year” titles, including Sky: Children of the Light and Journey, the Gardens team is crafting a fantasy-adventure action game inspired by classic online role-playing games and massively multiplayer online games, akin to Skyrim, World of Warcraft, and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
